This year in spring Hanneke sent me the recipe for the Dutch Speculaas. So these were among the biscuits I’ve chosen to bake for Christmas this year. I’m a bit late, if you consider that they are normally eaten by the 5th Dicember for “Sinter Claas”, but Hanneke assured that you may eat them all the time 😉
She also sent me the spicery and the cookie cutter to make them as original as possible…! The recipe is quite simple and I’m proud of my Dutch Speculaas, enriching my Christmas-cookie-plates!
