When the weather is nice, I like to stroll around in town during my lunch-break. Yesterday I met my mom and we went up the Promenade until the “Ponte Romano” and got out at Porta Passiria – one of the original ancient city doors – and went down to Piazza Duomo. That part of Merano, the Steinach quarter, is the very old one and I like it very much because of it’s richness of contrasts…
