Ile Maurice is the French for Mauritius, the fantabulous island on which I had the pleasure to spend two weeks this month! We stayed at a small, comfortable hotel on the eastern coast in Belle Mare. The structure is imbedded in a beautiful park with many palms and other plants. As I am a passionate hobby photographer, could you imagine my surprise and happiness as I saw who where the inhabitants of that which was going to be our park for two weeks?! Many beautiful, wonderfully colourful birds and geckos! I loved the place at first sight and took over 350 pictures of the small friends I met on my way in and outside our park 😀
